The retreat takes place wirth comfortable amenities on the Pacific coast of Ecuador, which includes both b. Beach rand Rainforest views location. The suites facility offers spacious and beautiful accommodations for a single guest (if available) or up to 2 guests or a couple per room.
Each ceremony will be expertly guided by Dr. Johnathan Flores, Physician and Shaman. Our ceremonies are developed following the original design of ceremonies of the Indigenous Amazonian Cofán Communities.
At the beginning of the event, you will be introduced to the Rapé rapé healing properties
process by sharing a rapé cleansing ceremony. Rapé is an ancient medicine made with the ashes of the Tobacco Plant leaves. It is an excellent tool to unblock the energetic channels and the respiratory tract.
As the days pass, you will receive ongoing guidance and participate in sharing circles to
increase your awareness and ground your understanding of what is being achieved
during the ceremoniesy.
You will enjoy 3 wholesome meals a day. All the meals are designed to help
your body find harmony and comfort during your encounter with the Plant Medicine. All
meals crafted in our holistic health kitchen, p. Prepared with local, fresh ingredients that
are, mostly organic. The menu was dDesigned by our Health Coach and executed by
our Executive Chef on site.
We will carry out onsite session circles and online after-retreat sessions led by Dr. Johnathan Flores.
As part of the process, you will attend Yoga morning sessions with our certified Yoga instructor, who received training in India. While Yoga is not a part of the original Amazonian tradition, we include it because of its profound benefits in promoting mental clarity, physical well-being, and a deepened connection to the body. This complementary practice enhances the overall experience by preparing participants to engage more fully with the traditional elements of the Amazonian journey.
To improve your growth process, we developed include an integration outdoor day. That is an essential stage since opportunity to ground yourself in a wild pristine natural environment and reconnect with your body and its movement. Our international fitness and Movement movement Coach coach will hold thislead this activity.
Pick-up and drop-off transportation for the airport and tours transportation activities is
included.
After you return home, the growing is not over. We will hold an online Group Integration Call. (1 pm the following Thursday EST)
Pamela is our Executive Chef associate for group programs. As a defender of Ancestral Medicines, she knows that food plays a fundamental role during the when working with Master Plants. Her gastronomic approach is based on “Real Fooding,” preparing food from conscious, organic, and primarily plant-based raw materials and avoiding ultra-processed foods. Pamela nourishes us, not only with her food but with her compassionate and loving energy throughout the process.
Jenny is our dear fitness and movement associate at Nina Wasi. She will guide you through outdoor/nature connection activities during your process here. Passionate about fitness, she became a certified functional fitness coach and personal trainer, helping students of all ages achieve physical well-being. Fluent in German, English, French, and Spanish, in 2018, she quit her job with the German government to travel to South America for seven months. However,
Latin America called her for new adventures. So, in 2020, she finally settled in Ecuador, making it her second home.
Flor leads the yoga classes at Nina Wasi. She founded her Yoga Studio on the beach and is a certified yoga teacher with 500 hours of Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga training from Om Yoga International in India. Specializing in pre-natal and post-natal Yoga, she brings fulfillment and joy to women’s lives. Flor is a proud Yoga Alliance member devoted to Pranayamas, Asanas, Meditation, and yoga philosophy. She understands Yoga as a lifestyle that improves physical, psychological, and emotional well-being.
Dr. Flores is Nina Wasi’s foundation. His constant quest to help others makes him an exceptional healer. Physician. Homeopath. Shaman. Addiction therapist. Music therapist. Neural Therapist. He comes from a tradition of healers by Indigenous family lineage, working with Ancestral Medicine for over 17 years. Since a very young age, he’s been a devoted practitioner of Tao and martial arts. His comprehensive approach to the Psychedelic-Guided Therapy led him to create the CET Method. As Co-Founder and Medical Director at Nina Wasi Ancestral Medicine Clinic., hHe leads the treatments and, with his wife, develops new health programs following the guidance of the Master Plant and the Ancestral traditions of his land. He has been a member of the Advisory Board at Dimensions Health Center, Canada, and he is an associate for the University of Ottawa psychedelic programing in the School of Psychology. On top of all, he is a given dad and a devoted family man.
